Meituan Drone Delivery in Shenzhen Parks: Setup, Lockers, and Pickup Codes (2026)

Meituan runs the densest park drone-delivery network in China across Shenzhen's Futian and Nanshan districts. As of December 2025 it had completed 740,000 commercial drone orders across 65 routes and added a nighttime cycle at several public parks. Confirmed pickup parks include Lianhuashan Park 莲花山公园, Shenzhen Central Park 中心公园, Shenzhen Bay Park 深圳湾公园, and Talent Park 人才公园. Routes shift on weather and operations, so check the Meituan app's drone tab on the day.

Set up before ordering: install the Meituan app or open the Meituan Takeaway WeChat mini-program. Foreign phone-number registration is supported since 2023, but you must link a foreign Visa or Mastercard via Alipay or WeChat Pay International. In the order flow, look for the small drone icon next to participating restaurants. There is no surcharge — a coffee runs the standard ¥25–35 — and the drone drops orders at a smart locker within 10–15 minutes. Service hours are typically 09:00 to 17:00 daytime, with a new 18:00–22:00 nighttime window at Shenzhen Bay Park since September 2025.

Walk to the locker shown on the in-app map, enter the six-digit pickup code, and grab your bag. Some park gates are off the drone corridor; verify the landing zone in the app before sitting down.
